1. Any singer from any country is eligible to enter. Entry must be performed in the form of a streaming video performance via the internet at Starfactree.com. Entry songs shall be sung using Licensed Karaoke tracks as background music. No original songs or live musical instruments will be accepted. Any entrant under 18 years old must have consent of parent or guardian. Duets are permitted and will be judged as an individual entry.

2. Price per entry is $ 9.99 US currency. Additional entries may be submitted by members for $9.99 per entry. Each entry will be judged separately on its own merit.

3. This is a contest for amateur singers. Professional singers are not eligible to enter. A professional is defined as: Anyone who has been signed to a professional recording contract by a Record Company and had a song released nationally or internationally. All decisions of judges concerning professional status are final.

4. All entries are initially screened for content. No professional music videos will be accepted. Only strict amateur videos, with no advertising content including products, websites or any other entities, will be accepted. Any violation of our rules, terms and conditions, will result in the immediate removal from our website.

After screening, entries are placed on the website for voting.

5. The Top 50 entries that receive the most internet votes by the end of the contest will be semifinalists. From these 50, the top 10 finalists will be determined by internet vote (50%) and Starfactree judges (50%). These ten will be invited to compete in Las Vegas at the Starfactree Las Vegas World Karaoke Championship Finals show.

6. Winner will receive a recording contract with Starfactree Records. Other prizes will be announced later.

1. All contestants must abide by contest rules.

2. All contestants will submit personal information as required by StarFactree Las Vegas (hereafter, referred to as SFLV) and any misrepresentation as to person or context of entry is grounds for immediate disqualification and forfeiture of any entry fees.

3. No sexually explicit, whether intended or not, music lyrics or video content will be accepted. 

4. All videos must be in good taste as determined by judges in the initial screening and all singers must be fully clothed.

5. It is understood that SFLV will do its very best to be fair and impartial in all judging aspects of the contestant entries. All contestants agree to hold SFLV, its employees, judges, subsidiaries, and all related entities harmless and not legally liable for damages arising out of any disagreement concerning any aspect of the contest. SFLV cannot be held responsible for any incidents occurring during internet transactions such as lost entries, etc. There are no refunds of entry fees for any reason. All decisions of SFLV are final.

6. In the case of disqualification of any entry for any reason the next highest score/vote getter will move up.

7. Winners that advance to the Finals must be able to travel to Las Vegas, NV to compete in the Finals show. Finalists will notify SFLV, in writing, no later than 30 days prior to the show that they will be able to attend and compete. SFLV will provide transportation to and from the finalists’ home country plus hotel accommodations for the duration of their stay during the Starfactree Las Vegas World Championship show. Each contestant (or duet) will also receive $500.00 spending money..

8. The Finals show will be broadcast. The eventual winner will win a recording contract with SF Records. The winner and finalists will produce a compilation CD and go on tour. Videos and other production items from the broadcast will become the property of SFLV.

9. The Finals Show will be in a standard karaoke format. Winners will advise SFLV of the songs they will perform at the Finals and SFLV will provide that music at the Finals.

10. SFLV will have right to use any and all entries.

11. By entering this contest and joining the Starfactree Karaoke Club, members agree to abide by all Contest Rules and Terms and Conditions. Any action whether intentional or not, that violates any of these Contest Rules or Terms and Conditions is grounds for immediate disqualification from contest. All decisions of Starfactree Las Vegas Inc. or their assignees are final.
